Although I've enjoyed sewing and quilting since the late 90's, I officially started Crafted In The Woods in October 2008. It all began when I took a few Clove Scented Trivets to some local stores to see if they were interested in selling them. To my surprise, they were a big hit! I began creating a few more items for the stores and for 2 craft shows I attended that fall. I was very busy, but very excited to have the opportunity to share my crafts with those who appreciate hand crafted products.
My passion then turned to hand poured soy candles. I stumbled into this simply because we like to burn candles in my home. Learning about making them myself was a logical step. But once I made my first few candles... I was hooked.
I really enjoy going to craft fairs and events where I can meet my customers and I also sell to several stores in the area/region. If you own a store and would like to sell my soy candles, I'll be happy to send you the information.
